I think it’s safe to say that nutrition is far from simple. We as humans know that we need to eat but the question always circles back to what to eat.
There is information everywhere on the news; amazing diets “guaranteed” to help a person lose weight and feel better than ever.
But when we zoom into the details of those diets, the information is as conflicting as it gets…carbs, wait NEVER carbs…processed-low-sugar sweets, oh wait, never ever sugar. Don’t even get me started on fruit! Plants only? Wait, don’t eat nightshades veggies! Meat? Fish only? Agh!
I could go on and on, but the point is clear – we are inundated with information about foods labeled “good” or “bad” for us.
It’s not only unfair to do this to consumers but to be quite honest, it is incredibly harmful to society.
